The Mikado

by Gilbert and Sullivan

This show is generally considered to be the most popular of all the Savoy Operas, and is Gilbert’s clever and highly amusing satire on British society and the British way of life, dressed in a Japanese setting.

The glorious musical score contains some of Sullivan’s most well-known songs, including ‘A Wand-ring Minstrel’, ‘Three Little Maids From School’, ‘The Sun, Whose Rays’, ‘The Flowers That Bloom In The Spring’ and ‘Tit Willow’ (to name but five!).

E.O.S. is well-known for its award-winning productions of G&S operettas and our traditional presentation makes this perfect entertainment for an Autumn evening.
